I did this piece more than a year ago actually. It was a sketch during a lunchbreak while interning as a 3d animator in a production house. Found it sitting around in one of my folders a month ago and I decided to finnish it up for a portfolio piece. I still feel it isn't completely finish, perhaps a year from now I shall touch it up again heheh. This picture had lots and lots of layers. I really had no idea for the design as this was quite a spontaneous piece. There fore I would paint different areas in the armour on separate layers, play around with the layer blending modes, erase certain areas, and build more layers on top. Not a very productive way of doing things but i find it helps in producing happy accidents. This piece was done purely in photoshop.
